This is one of the better wardrobes. Most have holes and dry rot in the timber

We now have 6 of these beds for the girls and a further 5 new ones for the boys. I expect we need to buy one or two more, after which we will only need to maintain and repair for several years

New girls block to the left. Old building to be demolished starting in a few weeks to the right

Girls’ dorm and facilities to the left, the new Boys’ dorm and facilities to the right. The area between will be to dry clothes and store bikes.

These new wardrobes cost Rp800, 000 each or about $108. At one child to a side, this gives a save place for 4 children to store clothes and personal items.

This is the new dinning / TV/ Study area. Neat and easy to clean.

The new fire place. Costs mean wood is still the fuel of choice. Hopefully this design will prevent the kitchen being blackened with the resulting smoke.

Another view of the interior of the new kitchen. Quite a difference from the previous one which was dark and dirty.
